LORESTAN STONE PAPER

The Lorestan Stone Paper Factory project is one of the most pioneering and innovative industrial projects in Iran, aimed at producing paper from calcium carbonate—completely free of wood and water usage. This project represents a commitment to environmental sustainability and industrial innovation, designed using green technologies and advanced machinery.

The factory is located in Khorramabad’s Second Industrial Town, benefiting from its strategic location near rich calcium carbonate mines, which serve as the core raw material for stone paper production. The design and planning of this project have been made to not only contribute to sustainable and optimized production but also to serve as a model for sustainable industrial practices across the country.
